Therapy for Women & Mothers
Healing for women through life’s most transformative seasons
A Space for Healing
At Her Space Therapy, we specialize in trauma and perinatal mental health, supporting women through some of the most vulnerable and life-changing seasons they’ll ever move through. Whether you’re carrying the weight of painful past experiences, navigating pregnancy or postpartum, grieving a loss, facing infertility, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the demands of life, we offer therapy that is grounded, compassionate, and deeply attuned to what you’re holding.
Our team has advanced training in trauma work and perinatal mental health, and we bring that expertise into all of the work we do with women across the lifespan. If any part of this resonates with you, we want you to know: you don’t have to carry it alone. We care deeply about this work, and we care deeply about the women we sit with. Wherever you are in your story, we’re here to help you feel supported, understood, and genuinely held—with the experience to guide you toward healing that feels steady, meaningful, and lasting.
Specialized Trauma and Perinatal Therapy for Women in Los Angeles, California.
Life has asked a lot of you. You've been carrying responsibilities, meeting expectations, and taking care of everyone else for so long that somewhere along the way, you've lost touch with yourself.
Maybe anxiety keeps your mind racing. Maybe grief feels too heavy to carry. Maybe past experiences continue to shape how you see yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. Or maybe you simply know something doesn't feel right anymore.
At Her Space, we'll create the time and space to slow down, look inward, and make sense of what you've been carrying. Together, we'll help you heal with greater self-compassion, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with confidence and hope.
Meet Cyla (Kai-luh), Founder of Her Space LA
Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Cyla Fisk, LMFT, PMH-C, founder of Her Space Therapy. Her Space isn't just the name of our practice. It's the feeling I wanted women to experience the moment they walked through the door.
For much of my life, I knew what it felt like to be boxed in—by anxiety, uncertainty, expectations, and the pressure to hold everything together. I longed for something different. Not empty space, but the kind that feels both open and held. A place where you can finally exhale. Where there's room to think. Room to feel. Room to question. Room to heal. Room to simply be.
When I think about where that feeling first existed for me, I think about the dance studio. It was just four walls and a floor, yet inside those walls something expanded. I could experiment, express emotions I didn't have words for, move through uncertainty, and discover parts of myself I didn't know were there. The room held me while also giving me freedom. That experience has stayed with me.
Today, I think of therapy in much the same way. Therapy is a shared space between two people. At first, it may feel overwhelming or uncertain. There are painful experiences, unanswered questions, and pieces that don't seem to fit together. But over time, those pieces begin to make sense. You begin to understand yourself with more compassion. Your nervous system softens. The constant pressure eases. You feel less alone.
Healing doesn't happen because someone tells you who to become. It happens because you finally have enough space to hear yourself again. That's what Her Space means. If this resonates, we would love to share our space with you.
Individual Therapy In-Person in Pasadena and Online in California
Support for the season you’re in
We provide therapy for women, feminine-identifying and gender-nonconforming individuals, birthing people, and their partners. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, identity questions, or the overwhelm of everyday life, therapy can offer a space to slow down, feel supported, and move toward healing.
Therapy for Moms
Whether you’re thinking about motherhood, trying to conceive, pregnant, postpartum, or adjusting to life with a new baby, therapy can offer support through the emotional complexity of this season. We also work with infertility, IVF, TFMR, and perinatal grief.
Therapy for Dads
Fatherhood can bring identity shifts, stress, anxiety, relationship strain, and the pressure to hold everything together. We offer a supportive space for dads to process the transition into and through parenthood, care for their mental health, and feel more grounded in this role.
Trauma Therapy
Trauma can leave you feeling stuck, disconnected, hypervigilant, or overwhelmed in your relationships and daily life. We offer trauma-informed therapy for PTSD, childhood wounds, and painful relational experiences, with care that helps you process what happened and move toward greater safety, stability, and healing.
EMDR
EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain and body process traumatic or distressing experiences that may still feel “stuck.” It can be especially helpful for trauma, anxiety, panic, intrusive memories, and experiences that continue to affect how you feel, relate, and move through daily life.
Neurodivergent Women
We support women in exploring and understanding their neurodivergence in a thoughtful, affirming way—helping you make sense of your experiences and develop a more sustainable, self-compassionate way of living.
Sensitive High Achievers
We specialize in supporting high-achieving women navigating anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, identity shifts, and emotional overwhelm — especially the women who have spent years being the “strong one.”
Wherever you are in your healing, you don’t have to hold it alone.
